Please avoid this mobile at any cost. Had the misfortune of buying one (yes, got carried away by the specs and the price at which it was coming). The set was defective, had to run to the service center multiple times (a must visit for someone who wants a first hand experience of hell) to get a DOA. Then the dealer shop to get a replacement who did not have stock !! Finally got the new device and lo behold !! Even that is defective .. Cursing the day I purchased this mobile, ran back to service center yet again, to be told that "REPAIR" is the word now and they cant replace again !! Almost a month , multiple mails to customer care , calls to their office , chasing the service center - all in vain. One also needs to know that the service centre phones are never picked and that the call centre people know only to apologize and tell that they are escalating the matter !! After wasting 17k on this junkbox and with a feeling of harrassment and of being cheated by this company, the least I thought I should do is to caution other people. Avoid this like EBOLA !!!!

Does the p... moreThe phone is extra ordinary in terms of HD and full hd video playing but when it comes to gaming its poor and outdated GPU is a big set back. I bought it knowing this weakness just to enjoy an immersive Full HD video experience. if you are also comfortable with that then definitely buy this entertainment package :)

klenet, 31 Oct 2014I have updated ota update to 4.4.2 but memory is still 1 GB... moreyou have to Flash KitKat ROM in your mobile from service station then only you can get 4GB apps memory.

Hi Vikalp.....bro can u plz tell me that hw u updated ur xolo q3000...ie. via service centre or OTA....because i updated via OTA but it was beta version..... so can i go to service centre fir final version....... as i have only 1gb of app memory

I'm presently getting 15 hrs 48 minutes of talk time in jellybean? Increasing Internal app memory is my main reason for kitkat upgrade. I plan to get it from Service centre tomorrow.

I'm planning to get it updated tomorrow from Xolo SC. The main reason for my going for upgrade is to increase the Internal App Memory. Does the Kitkat version reduces the battery backup ? Is there a way to increase Internal App memory keeping Jellybean & without rooting ? My cell is under warranty & I know rooting robs the cell of warranty

Guys, please do not update the OS for xolo q3000. It has many issues.
1. The memory each app takes in 4.4.2 is more compared to 4.2
2. Power button issue : by pressing power button to lick screen fails
3. Very bad looking interface

I also got the message to update via OTA. but i cancelled it. as it will not increase the internal app memory and a bit unstable then the version available at the Xolo Service center. I would recommend to go to Xolo service center and get it updated. don't go for OTA update.

I updated my xolo q3000 with final kitkat update and guys it feels gr8 now,phone performance increased, audio performance improved and it looks stable...finally got good os for this phone.
