Don't do any software update.
CPU is very good by MTK6589 and better than Qualcomm. And GPU is 8 core PowerVR SGX544MP2 which is best than Mali 400. Battery is 4000 mAh which is awesome. Display is very nice both cameras are good. Feels good with Matt finish. Over all performance is great. You wont find any smart phone with these specifications in Rs.19,000. If your budget is less than 15,000 than go through Xolo Q1100 or Xolo Q2000.
No problem with service Centre. Service of Xolo is good. They collect your phone from my your address.

Even i had the same issue with proximity sensor after updating the phone, i had submitted my mobile in Bangalore service centre 20 days back, and still waiting for them to return my mobile back.
It seems like all the Q3000 mobiles r having this issue with update.
Any updates in ur case ? Did u submit ur mobile in service centre ? did they respond ? is ur issue resolved ?? please reply....

If or facing problems related to ur phone please contact ur the and ask him for service center address the xolo company has been working on opening one or more service centers every three to five weeks....

My screen lock 1 By 1 i tried When i try 4 next previous obtions bcame disabled and shawing DISABLED BY ADMINISTRATOR,ENCRIPTION POLICY ,OE CREDENTIAL STORAGE.if som 1 knows pls help me how can i enable and low ringing volume any obtion 2 improve that?.how can i adjust touch sensitivity? i have updated software after that my many problems solved as aneesh faced

Proximity sensor is not working properly after the upgrade...provided through OTA.
Camera still pictures are not crispy....with noise...with a verybbad colour reproduction......video quality is more than average but here comes the problem of frame rate which is very poor...especially when compared to it's own xolo A 1000 which was a dual core device launched last year in march april but it's camera quality was quite comparable to galaxy note 2.....
On thr GPU front also...it's not up to the mark....can't play hugh end games properly in their high resolution quality...
CPU is really fast.....display....very good with very wide viewing angles.....in sunlight u can easily do any thing since very bright display....light sensor very fast....proximity sensor was also good but have gone sluggish after upgrade....i have to go to service centre for resetting it.....i hope this problem will be over soon.....
Ear phone clarity and loudness awe some.... comparable to samsung phones...
Battery is really good....will definitely give u one and a half days of full use.....no problem wiyh it....
Front camera very good....very slim phone.....
Over all a good phone...in this price range....u will not get anu other phone with such a good slim body and software.....
Just go for it....rather than buying micromax turbo or karboon titanium x.....or any other phone in this price range.
It will be the best buy at such a price.....

even i have not faced any problem since i purchased brand new 10 days back. But i have not updated the software by xolo as when the software was updated in another q3000, it became buggy. Hencein my opinion, if you dont update the software, it may be better. Or else, the software update may be done at service center

aneesh, 13 Mar 2014i am using q 3000 for 3 wks and i had faced lots of problem... moreI used this pH since 20 the Jan .my experience was good.never face touch issue like u mention. Even I can play criminal case ( Facebook game) by installing adobe 11.1 . only thing recently got an official update after that I have to press unlock botton twice or thrice for unlocking the screen

i am using q 3000 for 3 wks and i had faced lots of problems.autorotation not working .touch sensitivity more so dificlt 2 type.u canot directlty 4wrd pictures from whatsapp,curser do not move properly when u need 2 edit any message.but since yesterday onwards my problems solved except whats app and touch sensitivity.so i think u can buy .i wil update my experince coming days .and u can ask if u hav any confusion i can clear if i cud
