Yes there is a new update available for around 6.5MB. Thought it would be to move apps to SD but no. Also the installed games are still not showing under the Games menu. So guys any guesses what the update could be for?

the only reliable solution is to upgrade/flash the new q700i rom to q700 model.
It is working absolutely fine for me.
u can download q700i from below with flashing instructions.

before flashing u need adb drivers for recognizing ur mobile by any pc.

Great phone for a low price. The q700 is a perfect all rounder phone with great speed, dual sim, full hd camera and playback. It can play nearly any game you throw at it, even playing highly demanding games like vice city with little or no lag. Can run most psp and ds games without any problems through the required emulators. Can run office apps without any problem, allowing you to even manage several documents at a time. Perfectly shaped to feel comfortable while using and doesn't heat up at all. Can handle general falls and will still work after falling in water (once dried). It's switch app allows you to create multiple profiles which you can switch between in the lock screen. It doesn't allow you to move or Install apps to the sd card however. Installing the q700i rom fixes this. It's customer support is rather bad though. Try not to drop it from too high or take it deep sea diving. Overall, a great phone to get. Definitely recommended if you want to make your friends jealous.
I've owned it for 2 months and have dropped it several times and dropped it in water(by mistake) and still works fine. I can play fifa 14, gta vice city with no lag, and run Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai 2 for psp at 60 fps with no lag at all!

Secondly camera is not that bad. It is fairly good. You need to know how to take photos. I will advice not to use flash even in indoor photos. With flash photos are really bad.

Please dont buy any XOLO mobile,If you give this mobile to XOLO Service center then you can forget your mobile for 4 to 5 months,I M stilt waiting my pone last 3 months..... never buy xolo's phone........

my friend bought q700 everything is working fine except a small problem. when using mobile data from aircel we are unable to download any apps from google playstore as the message show error 403!
