AnonD-229320, 12 Feb 2014buy Samsung Galaxy core you can get with in 12000Galaxy core is a waste of money.No HD video playback 1080p.Poor battery and laggy.hd Gaming is pathetic.
But Xolo Q800 is a powerful 4 core device, just loving it.

I bought this phone in OCT-13 and ... moreNo complaints if you use it carefully.I am using this phone from 4 months. Way better than Samsung,micromax etc at this price.Good internet speed and battery.
Full hd video playback (use mx player in s/w mod for unsupported codecs)and lag free gaming.

I had enabled flip to mute option on my Xolo Q800, however now I am unable to find the option to disable / enable it. Can any one provide the settings? Flip to mute function is working fine though. Just need to know where is the setting.
Guess the issue is after upgrading the OS to 4.2.

I bought this phone in OCT-13 and it got dead in NOV-13 with no reason.
Still I am struggling to get it back from Service center
XOLO customer care is useless.
Don't waste your money on this waste product. Better go with some standard phone from Samsung or Sony
This handset is cheap and good looking but once it starts giving problem then your money is waste. Their service is pathetic.

i told him after update my camera apps gone and he wrote camera not working hangs up but Q800 newer hangs up and fastest phone.only problem camera apps misiing after update and that is only OS re installation (Flash)is required. and he opened my hand set maybe he broken my hand set that's why he said need 25 days.i told him why did you opened its not hardware problem

there are no issues with the phone itself,it is a great piece but god save you if you run into any issues and have to submit it at the service centre, they will say they would return it back in 5 days but you waont get it back until 40-50 days,and during this time period you will not have any info in the phone and u cant escalate the complaint there is nothing you could do, their customer care does not even have a clue and are careless , they will always give you the same sugar coated reply irrelevant of the number of times you called,no escalations no resolutions so think about this factor when buying any xolo mobiles,you dont need to take my word for it just go through consumer complaints forum and see the issues for yourselves hope it helps prospective buyers !

Hi All, Few things would like to share. 1st that beware you might end up downloading corrupted file in both the cases be it OTA or from the Xolo site.Thankfully in my case the moment i started the update the phone restarted and verified for signatures which did not match and updated was cancelled.
Then I tried OTA update. but backup data before you do it. just press switch off your cell. Press power key with volume up key, it will show you a menu wherein you will see backup my data option, use volume key to move go to that option and press power button to start the backup. it will take few minutes. then choose restart option and reboot.
Now about after update .... At first i found it hell lot worst thn previous version as that one was more accustomed . this one seems stock Android version without any customization from XOLO. But after two days i m liking it.
Issues .. contacts wont show up when you receive calls !!?? dont worry just backup your all contacts. delete all of thm from contacts and restore from backup. it will start showing whn someone calls you! ;) next is camera --> just remove the shortcut icon from screen and bring it from the menu again, it will work. the main camera app from menu will work ..i think just a shortcut link change issue;)
I am using xolo-x edition.;) its the same 800 bute with a bit diffrnt configs the initial q800 one.

Ankit, 01 Feb 2014Did anyone got the solution for the rear camera problem..?? Maybe your phone got wet or it fell to the ground or it got high pressure on the camera module.It sound like a hardware issues.Update won't create such problems.

i had same problem after update camera not working .maybe update via xolo site only no issue.OTA update may some issues.
