I bought this mobile six months ago for 10500 rupees with 16 GB memory card. Over the past 5 years I had used more than 10 mobiles and by far this is the best :-). My review is based on the amount I spent for this mobile.
Pros:
Camera: Excellent picture quality
Battery runs for 1 day with dual sim and about 1 hour browsing (Initially it was almost 2 days)
Light weight, thin and stylish
4.5 inch is perfect size not too small and not very big.
Cons:
Till today, few times mobile freezed for about 5-10 seconds. It happened about 15 times in 6 months which is acceptable for me as I am using this mobile to the maximum extent possible :-)
Overall my experience with this mobile is AWESOME. I give 9 out of 10 for this mobile.
If you are looking for low budget dual sim andriod, this one is a perfect pick.

As I updated my phone to the latest software 4.2.1 my rear camera has stopped working actually it not even showing my camera symbol so please help me out how solve this problem

Hey guys,
There is a new official update for this phone. It will upgrade your OS to 4.2.1.
Enhancements which I noticed:
1.Music:- Music is awesomecrystal clear now, earlier it used to produce noise and creepy sound but its simply awesome.
2.Xolo Power:- Now no need to use any 3rd party app for maximizing battery life.Xolo Power is included and it also shows how many CPU are working currently.
3. Xolo Security Support:- Anti theft and remote locking
4. Lock screen:- now tthere is support for more than one lock screen and there are options for customization as well like read messages or mails without unlocking it.
5. Vertical space has been increased for widgets on screens. Now you can have only four horizontal spacing for widgets or icons which is quite decent.
6. Fonts has become more smooth.
7. Minor change in maps and you get one touch navigation and local
8. Dialer and Messaging background color has been improved.
9. Contacts profile pics come on whole screen while calling.
10. Few widgets has been added like clock.
11. Notification bas has been changed.
12. Facebook has been removed from the package, now you have to install through play store.
13. The best thing I kept for last, huge improvement in Camera features. New features has been introduced like: Panorama shot, Best shot, FAce detection, smiley shot etc.
14. There are few minor changes in overall look and feel.
The best part, even after this update the phone runs butter smooth. After update it was hanging but once I restarted it, I got the same pace for which q800 is popular.

Hi friends,
i m using this phone from the last 6 months. its a very good phone no lags at all. anyone who are planing to buy a high end phone at low cost must buy this handset. believe me you will love it. my xolo q 800 never hang. you can play high graphics games without any lags. it can play HD video very smoothly. please don't go for samsung as they are making fools to customers buy making junk phones.

My friend told its very nice to wo... moreWell Q800 is a popular and time tested device.In newer versions it comes with a slightly downgraded chipset.Still it is good.It is even better if you can get the Q800 x edition ,it comes with the previous chipset.

I want to buy xolo q800. My friend told its very nice to work and fast without hanging. Now it is possible to get xolo q800. Rooting just gives access to system folders .Then you can change fonts ,icons etc etc features as you like.And yes,it is for advanced users .A smart phone is really smart when it comes to the hands of smart guys.

... moreChip set is mt6589w-m for new xolo Q800 white.Memory is not a problem because in this phone, you can move apps to memory card.
.Internal memory is total 4gb in which 2gb is used by system. In the remaining memory ,1gb is reserved for app installation and 1.7 GB is given as the internal SD card storage.You can repartition this using Q800 repartition tool application (need rooting )
And for the other questions I don't remember because I am now using a custom ROM with all those features present in it.

First of all Xolo Q800 (white color) is a very good phone.
I am using it with 1 sim only, as of now,
But I have some queries in my Phone:-
(1) The Chipset is MT6589 but in Xolo website (http://www.xolo.in/q800) it shows MT6589M.
(2) Its Total Internal Memory/Storage is showing around 1GB (without any android apps installed) but in Xolo website (http://www.xolo.in/q800) it says 4GB.
Let me know how can I get maximum Internal Memory/Storage.
(3) I am not able to find Panaroma feature for its camera snap photos.
(4) Not able to make selective call log deletion. For a particular phone number, all its call log gets deleted.
(5) How to create a playlist of songs in this phone.
Can anyone please help me in solving above queries. Awaiting reply.
