YouTube TV adds Multiview on iOS devices, Android soon to get it

Google is actively working on its TV-streaming branch of YouTube called YouTube TV. The tech giant introduced a number of new features for the past year and it's now bringing the Multiview feature to mobile devices.

Multiview isn't entirely new to the platform, it's been available on smart TVs for a while now, but today, a staff member at the company confirmed the rollout of Multiview to iOS and iPadOS devices. Here's how it looks on iOS.

This browser does not support the video element.

In the same Reddit thread, the employee confirmed Multiview is coming to Android "in the coming months".

Notably, the feature works only with select sports channels, but support for a wider range of channels is likely in the pipeline.

Google has their own phones and it's not like iPhones are that small of a margin, especially compared to the Pixel lineup. It's embarassing that users of Googles own OS get new features last
