I have filed a case in consumer court against YU/Micromax against the defective product sold to customers (Yu Yutopia). This is mainly regarding the camera lens cover simply falling off. It is due to a basic fault in the design. The company totally disregarded repeated attempts on my side for a reasonable solution.
Will keep you all posted regarding the outcome of the case if needed. If I win, all those with similar handsets form YU can claim compensaiton from them. YU has cheated customers in broad daylight. It is clear from the all the peoples' comments in this forum.

So I changed my battery of yutopia from a local repair center and the phone works fine (Y)
I guess the main reason behind this issue is that YU play god (lol.. its really playing with us XD) Company has created their own battery, so i guess there is some kind of short circuit thing going on, in the battery. That is the reason why the phone gets into bootloop kinda thing...(turn off when the short circuit happens).. if you connect the charger then it works fine because now the phone is getting power directly from the charger(not from the battery).

Ishaan khan, 06 Dec 2016First of all, I have seen many of you are confused that all... moreI bought yutopia phone 1 year back initiallly it works good then the problem of auto switchoff occours i just went to service centre of gorakhpur they took my phone and after 21days they provide me new phone after few days same problem of auto switch off started then i went to service centre they took my phone for 30 days n finally said that it cant be repaired i only suggest that not to buy this phone apart from this phone the service centre are making persons fool

An absoulutely trash device and the two reviewers Sumedh.D and NP Pal are fake reviewers praising this phone. Finally I got rid of this piece of trash and went for an iPhone SE.
Good riddance, Micromax-Yu should be ashamed of themselves for selling such a low grade device to people. Even OnePlus and Xiaomi phones are thousand times better than this trash.

i've been using d phone for 11 months not worth d money . touch has failed n d micromax service centre could not find d fault n told me that water has gone inside d phone hence d guarantee ceases to exist n to change it i should pay rs 6200 .the micromax is the most useless co on earth .i went to d ramesh nagar centre the technician was useless n unworthy. hence shun both yu as well as micromax
