Yuphoria gets an incremental Cyanogen OS 12 update

19 June, 2015

YU Televentures started rolling out a new Cyanogen OS 12.0 update for the Yuphoria. This new YNG1TBS2P2 software is an incremental update packing few features and enhancements.

Based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, the new Cyanogen OS 12.0 update addresses heating issues that were mostly reported in early batch of Yuphoria units. The camera app has also been tweaked for better low light images and macro shots.

Truecaller integrating Dialer has been improved as has been the touch screen responsiveness of the handset. Revised audio chipset code promises richer bass and clearer audio experience.

The update measures roughly 38MB and will be reaching all Yuphoria owners in coming 2-3 weeks. The Cyanogen OS 12.1 update will be pushed for Yuphoria and Yureka after it passes final testing phase.

Yuphoria features a 5-inch 720p Gorilla Glass 3 display, quad-core 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 mobile chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16 GB built-in storage, 8MP rear snapper, 5MP front cam, and 2230 mAh battery. Take a look at our Yuphoria review to know more about it.
