Zerolemon releases 8,500mAh battery for the LG G4

Peter, 11 September, 2015

Charge-masters at Zerolemon unveiled a battery for the LG G4, one with 8,500mAh charge. That's nearly triple what you get out of the stock battery (3,000mAh). However, LG's G-series phones pose a challenge – the back buttons.

Zerolemon had to add button on the back of its custom case to allow normal operation of the phone. With the case, the LG G4 becomes 21.3mm thick (0.84"), up from 9.8mm, and weight goes up to 178g, up from 155g.

The 8,500mAh battery takes 2-3 hours of charging to reach 100%. The case that comes with the battery is soft-touch black plastic.

Amazon currently offers the LG G4 Zerolemon battery case for $60.
