I am over all happy with the phone but one thing it echos on the other persons phone i switch to speaker it clears up they tell me its the network unsure.

Processor is fast for apps and g... morethis phone is the worst phone i ever had, he light is dim and it do takes poor pictures, when outside i can not see the screen and it do drops calls and it do ecgo's. i can't download music for my ring tone, i cant video my events, it won't let me erease the unwanted numbers. lots of faults in this brand and i really think for the money i paid for it - it should work a lot better then this

I bought the ZTE Avid on 5/5/13...a few days later the phone goes dead with a full charge! I have to remove the battery 2-4 times a day to have it stay on! Took it back to MetroPCS, the nice young lady gave me a new battery....still having the same problem. A dead phone doesn't serve a life and death situation if the phone shuts off on its own and you have to open the back cover to pop the battery back in in order to work!!! What is up with this phone??? I do not recommend it.

Having trouble resizing downloaded pictures for wallpaper. The editing feature only displays part of the picture. Why cant the wallpaper be shown in the same size as when first downloaded?

Bought it on 5/5/13; works for 2-3 days then quits working. Take battery out and works fine, battery might be at 35-40% when it happens. Changed battery twice, one rep wanted to give me new phone; other said phone was fine, I didn't know Android phone. Have WiFi at work, set on WiFi; got message "No available network" and sitting 10' from an open window. If I could use my phone, I'd love it. Call manufacturer? Ready to leave phone at Metro, no refund and all. Thinking of going with another phone and company. New to Metropcs.

Love this phone super fast great screen does all the stuff I can tell you, this mobile is just awesome!
It comes with Android 4.0 ice cream sandwich installed, which is so beautiful and fluid. The screen is great, battery life is very good and the size of the screen is 480 x 800 , in my opinion, perfect. Battery works fine and stays all day during playing games, calling, messaging, internet browsing and using camera. The phone itself is small and thin and light, screen is nice and bright. This is my first android smart phone and i would recommend this device, I like it. :)

Greedo, 30 Mar 2013Can't find anywhere if it's my phone, or they are all like ... moreso ive had the avid for bout a yr,now & havnt had any problems.i think most of the issues being discussed are from user eeerr.my avid is rooted;finally got cwm for avid'so now its custom roms'im new at this but the avid has long support,and makes moding things fairly easy to handle i drop my phone at least 3-7x a day. no lie.its super tough.still hodding up,jus soft bricked it with beats audio.dont dnld,but ran recovery and brought it back to the day i got it,all stock,so dont take alot of theese negative reviews too serious;as a full understanging of devices os;and most of those issues will be resolved,u. neva hear bout that part tho do ya??

A good user friendly phone with cheap price. these kind of phones should be manufactured by the companies. i love this phone and i am loving the android in it.

If that's not it then plug the headphones in, make a call and DURING the call, unplug them. Then hang up and see if that helped. My friend had a Palm Pre Plus(horrible in my opinion) and that worked. Hope it helps!!

Nice big screen. Front and rear camera with flash.
Great price.
Cons:
Screen is dim even at highest settings.

And i c... moreThis might be due to network issue as well so, have a check with your service provider and if it is not a network issue then reset your phone once. Even after resetting the phone if the phone is same then contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
