Qui-Gon Jinn, 17 Dec 2019Hi, my ZTE Axon7 (A2017G) is stuck with Android v6.0.1 and ... moreyou could try to download the entire rom from ZTE support site https://www.ztedevices.com/en/support being careful to download the one appropriate for your phone/country (maybe the one for another country will work the same but be careful about the GSM/CDMA stuff). Put the file update.zip (if i remember correctly) you'll find inside the downloaded zip file at the top of your SD card and try to update. On the support site you'll find the upgrade to v. 7.1.1. There is also the version 8 around but maybe you must first upgrade to v7.1.1.

Hi, my ZTE Axon7 (A2017G) is stuck with Android v6.0.1 and MiFavor 4. When I try to tap on Updates in Settings, it pops up information that "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped" and it can't update.
Can anyone help me!?

Typing from my Axon 7 running Android Pie BOOTLEGGERS GSI & custom kernel...This phone is living a long, healthy life on XDA and Telegram forums. Using it as my daily driver. It is still outperforming many newer devices.

Today I have updated Android Oreo from androidsage.com
I downloaded the zip file around 1.9 gb to my laptop
Extract it
Just copy or cut the zip file named update on the sd card
That's all
Go to settings
Software update
It will automatically detect the file and update it within 20 minutes with out erasing your data.

Battery is very conflicting. It doesn't last all day, it drains very fast... Whats even more frustrating is the fact that if its even a tiny bit cool/cold (talking about as little as 0°C) and i hold it out in the open to use my phone, it quickly shuts off due to 0% battery (Or so it claims!!), and will NOT turn on again until you connect it to power (charge). It happens no matter how much battery you've got left, as long as it's the tiniest bit cold, it shuts off. Is the battery freezing under such "warm conditions" (comparing to other phones tolerance)?
Well anyway it's such a troublesome thing, especially when you live in a country with all 4 seasons. And if you leave for work, school or anywhere for more than a couple few hours, you need to bring your charger with you unless you want your phone to die on you.

ZTE Axon 7 (Build A2017GV1.2.0B09) is compatible with original Sandisk A1 400GB Micro SD.
It works just fine on my phone .
