It is not worth buying today unless you can get it for less then $20 and 5g is not a requirement for you.
The antenna reception is about 4/10 and really meant for better coverage cities. I live in a rural area using Verizon's MVNO service named Visible, and I get low quality signal and slow downloads even though I know the service is good in other areas.
The performance for browsing the web is semi slow depending on what sites you are using, it has major issues loading Twitch streams and minor issues with Youtube app. Works well with other streaming services though. On phone local media play back is good if using VLC/MX player.
Battery lasts a respectable 10 hours as a hotspot from a single charge and only takes about 2 hours to fully charge. It never gets "hot", just lightly warm even during use well charging.
Call audio quality is fine, but not great over internal speakers. BT calling sounds very bad and muffled. Music over BT sounds great though.
Don't expect to play games with this, it has a very hard time loading anything past solitary.
Over all, a super cheap phone to give to a child for basic day to day use that works with all 3 major US carriers if the phone is unlocked.
