The same is... moreMy display is actually 240ppi, not is mentioned here, but still don't have compass or orientation sensor, it iw with newest firmware.. So even maybe a newer better model still not much approved.. anyhow, phone is very good in all else..

The specs article on gsma is for Pre-serial model, all Blade G models launched in 2013 lack magnetic sensor and have a better 240ppi IPS LCD screen.

Does this phone has compass? In specifications here this option exist but when I instal the compass software it can't detect orientation sensor (or magnet). Anyone has experience with this?
Everything else in this phone is fantastic, battery is great, display is also fantastic, everything work perfect, camera is very good, sound is ok, maybe a beat less loud but is with good quality and with better earphones is ok. This phone is surprisingly good for that money, worth much more..

sile, 22 Feb 2014I have this phone and it's great. I have a question. My RAM... moreThat is abnormal, my ZTE Blade G always has at least 50mb free ram even when I run BBM, UC browser and BS player with a radio station on.
I think you should disable/uninstall apps you dint use, specially the google ones. For example I disabled google now and it gave me a great boost. In addition download Android Assistant, whitelist apps you commonly use and do a quick clean on every boot of your phone (wait few mins until all apps launch though ) it will leave only essential apps and those u whitelisted running. Also worth using is Nova launcher, as it persists in ram memory and doesn't crash, is much faster and takes about 20mb ram only.

I have this phone and it's great. I have a question. My RAM is always around 5-0 free memory, the phone works normally, if it's good,because everybody is talking about freeing RAM memory? I have only 2 apps instaled from Gplay, others were on the phone.

Just a small update regarding this phones camera, the stock camera app takes very poor pictures but is good for videos. If you want to take clear and bright pics with this phone get apps like CameraNext and in the settings use ISO 100,this way the noise will almost completely disapear and photos will look a lot more natural specially outdoors.

idk, 11 Dec 2013i want a good phone adn i don't want something too expesive... moreThe phone is great, just got it.. If you want a cheap, but good phone you don't need to look anymore.. the only reason why it's cheap compared to other phones is bcs ZTE is not that popular..

To make it stay as requested, restart your phone after sound notifications had been changed. I found it that the built in and Google music players conflicted so I disabled Google player and installed Rocket Player then set it as default, after this my rington so no longer reset.
As for the ram memory, for everyday apps it's more than enough, get Android Assistant if you struggle. I have 5 social apps running in the background with no issues. However it can't perform as some top tier models of course, for the price range that ZTE Blade G is sold in its a great phone. The screen is it's strong selling point, folowed by the price,all other such phones have tft in this price range whereas this one has a very good IPS LCD.

The specs are pretty impressive for this low end phone. As I read yet, the only problem is the RAM (512MB).

Hello and merry christmas to everyone! When i set a sound (from my sd card) as a ringtone, it switces back to the default one once i switch it off and on, and it's very annoying. Can anyone tell me what to do so that the sound of my choice remain permanently? Thanx in advance.

The spec page is slightly incorrect
The screen has 240 ppi. This phone doesn't have a magnetic sensor thus compass apps don't work. The NFC is present only on some models.
