Got the Optus 1GB of ram version of this phone for $149, locked to Optus.. Really happy with it. There is a black surround around the screen that runs 3mm around the edge of the screen. The photo is using black background to hide this fact, but you can see that the clock in the picture is not flush with the top edge of the screen. The screen itself looks great.
The phone body is really well made. Occasionally the fingerprint isn't recognised, but no more than with the latest iphones. You can set locations that don't require lock screen so it eliminates excessive use for them.
Camera is good enough, but not as good as my Samsung S2 or S4. Quite a bit better than the HTC desire 320 I was using.
Sound quality through nice sony ear buds is really good. But the in built speaker is a little quiet.
It accepted my 64GB micro sd card without any issues, even though the manufacturer site claims a max of 32GB.
Battery life seems pretty good. gets me through the day even with a couple of hours of heavy use. For the price I am incredibly happy with this.

Hi Ash, I too got the same problem with the speaker. Its voice volume is low even though it is set to the highest limit. But I got it fixed already at the Service Centre. You have to see the engineer and tell him your problem. He will compare with the same model and if it is speaker problem like mine, he will change it for "Free" as it is under warranty. After the repair, I have no more problem with the speaker. Working fine and good.

Despite having a aluminium body a finger print scanner, this phone fall short on performance. It even affect day to day usage on simple light usage like Whatapps, and Facebook.
For me, processor performance matter the most as it is one of the most important incredient for making the phone less lag, no hang, last longer to use.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro, with Snapdragon 650 processor is a much better phone than this. It's price actually is a bit more expensive than this, but is a miles better phone, that is much more worth it.

After a few day that i used, i think this phone is very nice.Fingerprint quite useful for me.Although 13MP,camera is very simple. Don't buy if you hope expect the camera is good. Very light.ear phone, charger,two cover, screen protecter included.Good experience with this phone.

I think it has a fair quality for a MYR4++ phone, can't expect too much though. Unless if the price reverted to its RRP which is MYR6++ then maybe you should look for other options. Some apps are currently unable to run on it due to Android Marshmallow incompatibility. And if you buy a phone for taking pictures, at this price you might want to consider a digital camera with optical zoom :)

After using it for few days, I think this is a very budget fingerprint phone with moderate performance. Camera can't expect too much. Fingerprint performance don't compare with high specs phone. Battery consumption is about 12 hours and left 40% for moderate usage. Can purchase it as second phone.

what a deal, can't expect good camera with mediatek processor of this price...just add some bucks for redmi 3 with bigger battery.

Don't buy this phone. Camera bad, 13mp but quality like 5mp. SD card slow reading, sometime no card insert. Finger print hard to detect.
