ZTE Blade V8 Pro officially on sale today
ZTE already announced its newest midrange device for US shores at CES this month [hands-on]. The ZTE Blade V8 Pro is the first ‘Blade’ model to hit the US, given the lineup's increasing popularity in global markets. The phone is sold unlocked for GSM carriers and features dualSIM slots.

Here’s what $230 gets you with the Blade V8 Pro:
- Dual 13MP rear cameras
- 5.5-inch 1080p screen
- Snapdragon 625 CPU
- Front-mounted fingerprint scanner
- 3,140mAh battery
- Quick Charge 2.0 capable via USB-C port
- DualSIM slots
- 3GB RAM + 32GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD
- Android Marshmallow
The phone launches with Marshmallow, so that’s something to consider if you’re looking at this phone. But another compelling feature is the dual-camera setup, something that’s becoming explosively popular in the lower-end segment with phones like the Zenfone 3 Zoom and Honor 6X. We’re glad to see Quick Charge 2.0 on a phone of this price range, as well as a USB-C port, both of which Honor has skipped out on in its latest ultra-value smartphone.
Pre-orders will ship today, otherwise, new orders can be placed with B&H Photo, Newegg, and zteusa.com
