Bought this phone about a month before. It is a superb phone with great screen and a very good camera (BSI sensor) which allows you to take very good photos.

bought this phone last 2 weeks, it's good in almost all aspect but one thing is missing "no maganetic sensor or compass".

I bought one of these phones for $238 delivered from the aliexpress website. The phone came with Google play, which was installed by the seller, as it does not come with it already instslled from the factory.
I have been using the phone for over a week now with no problems. It works very well on the Optus network here in Australia. In fact it picks up signal much better than my old sony experia x10i.
The phone is vary comparible to my wifes samsung galaxy S3. I have run a benchmarking program and the v987 is only a small margin behind the S3.
For the price i got my phone for i think this phone is better value than my wifes samsung Galaxy S3.
It also has dual sim slots and built in FM radio player!

Been using it for about a month now, so far so good. Only shortcoming's that I can't add a Google account and without that it's not possible to run Play Store. Perhaps I don't know how to do it, can anyone help?

I've bought this awesome Android phone in http://www.etotalk.com . I think it's a very good phone. Screen quality is better than many others. Body is very confortable, size correct and the quality level is very high. You can find a very good ROM for ZTE V987 in this xda link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2246874 It's based on another ROM with Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and everything is running correctly for me. I will try toadd it to my list of rooted Android phones in how to root zte v987 and root zte v987 I hope this information will be useful for you. Regards.

I bought a V987 two weeks ago. It was my first ZTE. But it will be also the last one. I had problem with display: it flickered sometimes and the only solution it was restart. Every time! No more ZTE for me.

Good quad core dual sim, i'm quite happy with it in France.
The retail stock phone comes without google market, only chineese and english and with tons of chinesse app but there is a custom rom on xda for internationnal language, root and gplay.

Yes is no Google market is true. but all phones for China market dont have Google market. However there are about 10+ chinese markets very similar to Goggle market and they have many chinese applications but also all the english application from the Google Market. Even better all of them are free and require no account registration, just download all the apps you need, It is very easy to use even easier than Google Market.

I bought.. there is no Google Play market in phone. and i cant install it anyway. there are some chinese app. only. and ZTE market. but all chinese.. gr... 310USD TRASH
