28nm boredom but also what to expect from unisoc alternative ship

    I have used this phone as a secondary device for one week now. The device is actually quite cool for $60. It has a pretty good screen and the UI is nice, although full of crapware. The speaker gets insanely loud but sounds terrible (as expected). The only complaint that I have is that the SOC is very slow, but I guess for the price, it's ok.

    Never would I pay $150 for this, but for $50-70 it's a very interesting niche phone.

      I got the phone for a few days, front camera sucks, music is good is guess loud, the brightness is also good when playing outside, I cannot play games like farlight or arena break out, there is no built in photos app u have to use Google photos, not very fast compare to my old phones bit laggy, battery is ok very quite fast to charge, low resolution when it comes to games, overall it is 6/10 for software, slick look, screen brightness, volume specially when outside, big storage. My only advice if u want a phone for a good camera buy other brands like samsung or oppo cause the can suck and when taking video it is so shakey.

        You need download Muviz Edge Mod and volume booster apk app or bluetooth speaker solve any phones model than buying this gimik visualize amplified and boost sound speakers for authusiast audiophile.
        Just saying.
        The processor is fair but its casual old users backup phone emergencys used surround big speaker for situations like senior citizens lost hearing aid this phone. Not gaming phone

          My honest review for this phone are very valueable for me for a whole 6 month use.

          1.has dual audio jack and people mess about it
          2.big speaker at the back and you should use perfect sound quality for clearer sound at app dtx x ultra
          3.got melody lightning at the speaker
          4.very good surround sound when use the best sound profile at dtx x ultra
          5.garbage sound when use bluetooth earphone
          6.this phone not good use at your daily hard app such as running many app background
          7.very slow when opening app
          8.dont use many system running or else it will auto refresh to boot
          9.not support wifi 5 and not good to get the faster 5G wifi
          10.not support the best codec such as flac but still good

          For those who misunderstanding about this phone why it should call nubia music?
          Bcs it give good audio only for 3.5mm jack with surround sound profile dtx x ultra and the speaker as optional for who like to hear loud speaker as your main use at big place

          That all only my honest review for use this phone for 6 month

              I BOUGHT THIS FOR $60

              Honestly, people here are misinterpreting the purpose of this phone. This was never meant to replace your daily driver. This is one of the best purchases I ever made below $100.

              1. This is a cheap FLAC music player for those using iPhones. Its difficult to transfer FLAC files to the iPhone and this is far cheaper than getting a secondary Samsung or Pixel.

              2. If youre into streaming music, this is better than getting a standalone Fiio or Walkman music player. Not only is the latter more expensive, the music plays do not have data connection.

              3. The speakers are mediocre but loud. However it serves another purpose. Its great for Zoom meetings on the go when you dont have earbuds or speakers available.

              As to other concerns:

              1. Dont expect a Sabre DAC or anything. Its just your standard ZTE phone

              2. The UNISOC chipset is actually smooth as long as you exclusively use this for one app like Tidal or Zoom. Make sure to turn on the option that destroys apps when you exit them in the developer options.

              3. This is the biggest flaw for me. USB C Earphones for some reason do not work. Thats fatal for audiophiles who are into absolute lossless listening unless you have an external DAC.

              4. The screen size is actually narrow, similar to the earlier Xperia models. But that actually makes sense since you want this to fit into your pocket as a music player. In fact I wish they made this even smaller.

              But for $60? Most of us here spend more on a dinner outside. I am actually surprised how theyre able to sell a phone at that price point. Even the lowest end Samsungs are at least $100. For the extra $40 you save you can just get yourself a Hi Res buds.

                  I wanna ask a question, my current phone is Redmi 12, and I only every use it just to do my school work,go to social media and almost 90% just to listening to a music, and I travel a lot and it's doesn't have NFC So it's kinda hard to do payment, and I come across this phone, and It catch my attention, cause it's made solely for music and very cheap, it's also has NFC For the price

                      Absolute Garbage, Falsely Advertising That It's For Music..In Fact The Speaker Can Go 600% but With Absolutely Bad Quality, No Clear Sound, Big Compressed Audio Quality. It also Have An old Slow Chipset with a Really Inefficient 28 nm. Imagine Usng This Phone as Your Main Phone LOL.......!!!

                            Pros:
                            - Dual 3.5mm Jack
                            - Loud Speaker
                            - Nice looking Pop art Phone
                            Cons:
                            - Average Camera, worst in less light environment
                            - Slow Processor
                            - can connect to 5G network
                            - no built in Music player, Gallery
                            - Outdated software

                            as someone who uses multiple earphone and headset and like to compare, yes i can get the full price and definitely worth it, but for an average user, prefer not buying it and just get other phones worth the price

                                Dont buy this phone or any other ZTE i try this phone. very stupiq phone and useless, jem if you instal 2 or 3 app, sometime stuck jem with no reason, 8gb is liar, speaker big but slow! easy to become hot, guys pls dont buy this phone seriously i am swear with god name this phone is very bad n low quality, i gonna change to other cheap brand, even realme is more btter than this phone. waste of money

                                      This is phone is no.1 in its category.
                                      And its below entery level.

                                        For sure this phone is not for 'the faint of heart'. Even though that phone is an underrated spec, does not mean that it is unusable. It stated that this phone is for musicphiles, like an iPod. It may not be your daily driver but it serves the purpose, it's a music and radio player. Comparing with other phones seems not fair anyway.
