ZTE Nubia N2 to debut on July 5

Victor, 03 July 2017

Nubia just scheduled a release event in India this Wednesday (July 5). The company will be launching a Nubia N2 on the local market - an interesting mid-range offer, with a clear focus on long battery life. The phone was initially announced in March, alongside the Nubia M2 and M2 Lite.

The Nubia N2 is far from a powerhouse, coming with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display of 720p. Other highlight features include 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, 13MP, f/2.2 PDAF main camera and a 16MP, f/2.0 selfie one, a fingerprint reader, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, DTS and an AW8738 amplifier.

That enormous 5,000 mAh battery, we mentioned earlier, also has the benefit of 18W quick charge support. The MT6750 chipset is not an ideal choice for battery efficiency, but the Nubia N2 will likely make up for that in sheer capacity.

The Nubia N2 will be available in Black, Gold and Champagne Gold colors. Its local Indian price will be revealed come July 5, but the original China price tag of CNY 1,999 converts over to INR 19,000 or so.

This phone is dead on arrival. India is quite allergic to Mediatek SOC phones, after Snapdragon 625. This one if priced more than 12k, will stay on shelves. Anyways better alternative is ever popular Redmi Note 4. For 11k.

720p on a 5.5" sucks,,,the N1 had a 1080p,,,,have they flipped! And could have had an SD625/6!! Why release such a flop n lose money! Just stay in bed till you get some sense..
