Right, so I got this phone delivered a few hours ago and it's not the phone they tell you. It's so much more than a gaming phone. It's really great for music, videos with its DTS X Ultra. It comes with a really nice case and 65W charger. Runs Android 12 with some neat gaming options. I'm not much of a mobile gamer myself but I really love this phone and it's a lot easier to play on it than any other phone

I’ve been using it for a month. I think the cooling system doesn’t work that much with the 8 Gen 1. Playing heavy games for a long period is very uncomfortable. The screen itself heats so much specially the back. 6 out of 10 :(

Hadi, 25 Mar 2022I purchased one today. I hope it doesn't disappoint me. Which model did you get? I'm in the process of trying to do a return. This phone is messed up. Within one day the phone crashed and froze multiple times while playing games like pubg even when I changed different settings. Them saying it's 165hz refresh rate is bogus. Most apps are displaying 60hz or 90hz and it's super slow. Can't even get to 120hz and by scrolling you can tell right away it's at 60hz and I tested this with multiple devices and other devices match what they claim. I got the supernova and them claiming 18gb ram is such a lie. Anyone considering this phone, don't bother.

Has anyone used this phone and noticed the refresh rate is at 60Hz in both games and browser? I use the display checker app to check. The only time I see the correct refresh rate displayed to what I set it to is in the homescreen. Is this normal or a scam from this company?? Even when I tried to scroll when I first turned on the phone I noticed it's very slow and can't be 165hz let alone 120hz. Even my old phone seems more smooth and it's 60hz.This is way too slow for games, what's the point of this?

It's staggering that in this day and age a company allows itself to distribute a phone globally with completely horrendous and broken software. Giving a score of 4 just ignores the facts that the OS is too buggy, unreliable for work, there's no way to change the launcher & Google Pay is unsupported due to manufacturer changes to the OS.

Why is that dumb?
If you dont like high speed charging, then use another charger, an old one you have, is this a problem for you.
It gives all the buyers options, free to choose.
I use 3 different chargers for my Mi 11 ultra = 3 different speed options, thats somthing.
