Pro+ co... moreNot a typo. The Pro has a 6000mah battery with 80w charging (65w globally for funny reasons). The Pro+ has a smaller battery but ludicrous 165w charging with the included box charger. Moreover, in China, the latter has way more configurations, up to 16/1024.
If you want the Pro+ due to faster charging (assuming your US outlets can even provide enough current, not exactly sure if it depends on the state or not), check out Chinese import retailers like GizTop, TradingShenzhen or BluDiode, or use a proxy. Bands compatibility are the same as the global Pro release, so that should not be a concern assuming your carrier is alright with it, some US ones are a bit wonky when it comes to ZTE devices.

Software updates are also needed t... moreif there is a way to unlock bootloader easily.. then they should throw custom os. this is atleast a perfect device. its got 3.5mm jack so you'd throw any wired earbuds with mic capability. no matter whether its cheap or expensive.

you most likely won't even like the new android versions
android 14 will block legacy apps even trying too side load them will be blocked
on the other hand most android emulators for pc run old android versions either android 7 or android 9
so gaming phone won't just die from lack of software updates but if you got software updates you might lose compatibility with legacy games

Yet another lousy product by Zte that dosent even have 1 software update. ZTE was basically as good as dead when they were banned in the us.if their phones were truly great,they would have at least 1 percent market share. And I think jerryrigeverything showed the rubber seals in his video on the phone. So they may have tested it in water.
Just because it doesn't have an IP rating doesn't mean it isn't just as water resistant.

This pho... moreIs the rain in 2023 different than the rain in, let's say 2018, because water protection definitely wasn't the norm back then, and smartphones weren't dying left and right everytime it rained? Actually, there are still many smartphones without IP ratings, yet, they are surviving in this cruel world, somehow. I assume that it doesn't have water protection because of the active cooling, such a design would probably be very hard.

Zero water resistance and dust resistance in 2023? This phone is completely under hazard if used outdoors tbh. Even the slightest amount of rain can damage it. Even dust can end up inside the phome and stay there forever. Unecessary fan gonna drain the battery and add up to mechanical failure risk. Horrible phone frankly speaking.

This smartphone is absolutely about performance so am upset not seeing any progress being made
The sharp aquas zero has a 240hz screen

I'm not smartphone gamer... but this device has a headphone jack, NO punchhole or notch, and high refresh rate.
There are literally just 38 smartphones in the world right now with these basic features, and this one seems to be the most impressive of them all. OIS on main camera would've been appreciated, but hey, nothing is perfect in this world.
I've kept my 1+1 5T for good 5 years while waiting for the ugly punchhole trend to go away, and my patience is paying off in the end. My next phone will either be a ZTE Nubia or a Sony Xperia. These 2 companies seem to be the most sane nowadays.
