I like it in 2025 tbqh. Good buy if you find it used. Dust can be troubling. Don't let the update meme get to you Android 14 is a solid release and there's custom rom options for 15.

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2025Is redmagic 8 pro relevant in 2025?No don't get one. For example cod warzone mobile they already removed peak and high graphics options as the CPU supposedly can't handle it also in not 100% if it will get android 15 itd a brilliant phone but it's getting old now!

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2025Is redmagic 8 pro relevant in 2025?Yes it is still relevant. However support for it should be over with so you'd need a service like BitDefender for anti virus. Redmagic 10 Pro is the newest model and starting around the same price on their website, redmagic.gg, as every other model has. I currently use this phone and it's been great. Still as speedy as the day I got it

Finally an update NX729J_UNCommon:V3.47 327.1 MB. After almost a year. ZTE finally step up their game, hope in 2025 we see AOS 14.

This phone is faulty. Two weeks after I bought it, it would start getting errors with my finger print and stopped working and then the charger it came with wouldn't charge it a couple days later. I asked for a replacement with my warranty instead the did a bad repair. They sent it back with bits of paper and fingerprints on the inside of the back glass. The errors got repaired but they quickly started to happens again with the finger print analysis and also the right trigger button stopped working. They couldn't help me after that... So I'm never going through redmagic
