It's a good phone. I had a Redmi note 9s before this, it still works fine. After upgrading to the Redmagic 9S Pro my first ever flagship phone i felt like it was worth it as a gamer, i love the gaming triggers the most and the game space function is awesome. As a heavy phone user i truly enjoy the experience even after using it for more than 4 months. The only downside i can point out for this phone is that it's not waterproof but im willing to take this trade-off because the phone can dissipate heat extremely well when im playing on 60 fps, compared to my old phone where it gets really warm when i play on 30fps low graphics. Anyways, i probably can never use a phone without a gaming trigger anymore. It literally has a built-in auto-clicker function as long as i hold it and it doesn't affect looking around(literally how i imagined an auto clicker should function)(btw gaming trigger only works on horizontal games) sad I can't use 'Scout' mode on popular games.
Edit: another downside is just the fingerprint unlock, my old phone's side mounted fingerprint works flawlessly. It's kinda funny, slight annoyance to deal with when using this flagship phone

ChiL, 13 Nov 2024How many android updates do phones like these get? The update policy for the RedMagic 9 series is a significant drawback,You could expect only ONE years of OS upgrades meaning you could get only Android 15 and 2 Years of security patches,This is less competitive compared to midrangers which get 2 years of OS upgrades and 3 Years of security patches

it seems that your opinion is contradict yourself. if you say about storage management, you can put apps and residuals only on your internal. and store all your media files on your external storage.

does install an HDD in your PC when you have installed SSD make your PC slower? no, if you put your OS, apps and boot file on your SSD, your HDD is just sitting there and won't affect any performance because it access the source drive which is SSD. same as phone with external slot

if you say that microSD makes the phone slower, why does Steamdeck/ROG/Legion use microSD?

Besides them trying to "money grab", one of the main issues is how much the phone seems slower when using a MicroSD. Especially if you used it to install apps. 256GB is plenty, and this is coming from a content creator who records games in max video quality. It takes dozens and dozens of 20 minute videos in full HD to fill up my 256GB phone. Storage management is the key and monthly file maintenance. (Deleting/removing temp files, unnecessary residual files, etc)

Charging Time: It takes approximately 30-40 minutes to fully charge the battery from 0% to 100%.
Note: Battery size may vary depending on the version.

                                    Performance and Stability

Issue: The fingerprint reader does not always register a single finger consistently.
Recommendation: Implement a feature that allows users to add multiple fingerprints to improve recognition accuracy and reliability.

                                    Facial Recognition:
