Ive had the Nubia Red Magic 9s Pro Carbon for the better part of 3 weeks and these are my findings.
Battery Performance
Daily Use: The device offers an average battery life of 3-4 days under regular daily usage excluding gaming activities.
Charging Time: It takes approximately 30-40 minutes to fully charge the battery from 0% to 100%.
Note: Battery size may vary depending on the version.
Performance and Stability
System Uptime: The Nubia 9s Pro has been running continuously for 303 hours without a reboot, maintaining smooth performance throughout this period.
Overall Experience: still enjoying the phone with no show-stopping issues. While there are minor hiccups occasionally, they do not significantly impact the phone's usability or performance.
Smooth Operation: The device remains as smooth and responsive as it was on the first day of use, indicating strong system stability and optimization.
Biometric Authentication Issues
Fingerprint Reader:
Issue: The fingerprint reader does not always register a single finger consistently.
Recommendation: Implement a feature that allows users to add multiple fingerprints to improve recognition accuracy and reliability.
Facial Recognition:
Issue: Facial recognition may not work effectively when users wear glasses or change their appearance.
Recommendation: Allow users to register multiple facial profiles, such as with and without glasses, to enhance recognition accuracy in different scenarios.
App Compatibility Issues
Some applications experience difficulties functioning properly on the Nubia 9s Pro, such as issues with signing in or operational glitches.
Connectivity with Accessories
The Nubia 9s Pro successfully connects with various devices without any issues, including wireless earphones, headsets, and car infotainment systems.
Provides seamless integration with car connectivity platforms, enhancing the driving experience.
User Experience
Transition from iPhone:
Ease of Use: As a former iPhone user, adapting to the Nubia 9s Pro was straightforward.
Customization: The device allows users to adjust button layouts and swipe gestures to mirror those on an iPhone, easing the learning curve.
Data Transfer: Offers seamless data transfer from an iPhone to the Nubia 9s Pro by simply connecting the two devices via a cable.
Enjoyment of the Device:
User Satisfaction: Overall, the experience with the Nubia 9s Pro has been positive, with no major issues detracting from its use.
Minor Hiccups: While there are occasional minor hiccups, they do not significantly impact the usability or performance of the phone.
System Stability: The phone's ability to run smoothly over extended periods without rebooting contributes to a reliable user experience.
Conclusion
The Nubia 9s Pro presents itself as a high-performance smartphone with impressive specifications and features. It caters well to users transitioning from other platforms, particularly iOS, due to its customizable interface and easy data transfer capabilities. The device boasts strong battery performance and quick charging, making it suitable for users with heavy daily usage.
The device demonstrates excellent stability and performance, maintaining smooth operation even after 303 hours of continuous use without a reboot. While minor hiccups are present, they are not significant enough to affect overall functionality.
However, there are some issues that need addressing:
Biometric Authentication: The fingerprint reader and facial recognition systems could be improved to offer better accuracy and convenience by allowing multiple fingerprints and facial profiles.
App Compatibility: Certain applications are experiencing compatibility issues, which may require attention or updates from the respective app developers.
The seamless connectivity with various accessories and car systems enhances the overall user experience, making the Nubia 9s Pro a versatile choice for users seeking a device that integrates well with their existing tech ecosystem.
Recommendations
For Users:
Register multiple fingerprints and facial profiles if the device allows, to improve biometric authentication reliability.
If reliant on specific apps, check for updates or compatibility fixes.
Utilize the customization options to tailor the user interface to personal preferences, especially when transitioning from other operating systems.
For Manufacturers:
Consider updating the biometric authentication system to allow registration of multiple fingerprints and facial profiles.
Improve the fingerprint reader's sensitivity and reliability to ensure consistent performance.
Address minor software hiccups to enhance overall system stability.
For Developers:
Address the compatibility issues with their apps to ensure full functionality on the Nubia 9s Pro.
List of Specific Apps Mentioned
Discovery Health App: Experiences difficulties with signing in on the Nubia 9s Pro.

Nubia is selling lies in one aspect, the battery is a 6500mAh battery and I hate that every reviewer isn't properly measuring it. It is a 6000mAh battery confirmed during a tear down. Can you please correct your specs for this phone. If you thing I am lying, either measure it yourself, pull the back of the phone off or look at Jerry rig everything teardown.
Its not that it isn't a great phone, I have it and its great, I just wish the company was not lying about there battery size.

The software is buggy AF. Many glitches. Bluetooth keeps dropping devices that were already connected. Face recognition only works part-time. My B&O earbuds cut in and out when music is playing. When playing YouTube videos the sound cuts in and out whether it's from the speakers or earbuds.

Someone 0o0, 26 Jul 2024What is the difference? The 8s gen 3's performance is closer to the Snapdragon 8 gen 2 maybe even worse than that, When Qualcomm puts S next to the number on something then that means it's a downgraded cheaper version of that Chipset.
This is also the reason why the Poco F6 pro used an 8 gen 2 and the regular Poco F6 uses the Snapdragon 8s gen 3
The Snapdragon 8 gen 3 is way more superior than the 8s gen 3
Antutu scores: Snapdragon 8S gen 3:1489956
Snapdragon 8 gen 3:2054380
3Dmark Wild life performance: Snapdragon 8S gen 3:67 FPS
Snapdragon 8 gen 3: 103 FPS
Hope this helps 👍
