I've had several of their models from 3, 5G, 7SPro and now 9Pro. Since RedMagic OS8.0 (Android 13), they've improved a lot of their OS features and been clean as well as stable.
Even Xperia smartphones I had from the past are way buggier than RedMagic's of today.

If LG branding their LCD display as an AMOLED display, i think a lot of people would believe it! It's so darn good!

The price will definitely go up by at least $50 to $80 but absolutely not double like he claims. You can take a look at many Lenovo tablets that were released in China a while ago under the Xiaoxin brand, where the models sporting the Snapdragon 870 with LCD panels were so much cheaper than the few models that used an AMOLED panesl to the point where they outsold the more expensive model so much that Lenovo discontinued it after a couple years only and hasn't used OLED/AMOLED panels ever since.

For those complaining about IPS, if they were to put an AMOLED display, and the 8 Gen 3, it'd cost about 2x the amount, so don't really be bothered.
A good IPS LCD can offer amazing viewing experience - ask Apple.
