Otherwise I might just stick with my Redmi Note 10 Pro, and maybe if the F8 Ultra does come to Europe in 1TB variant, one could maybe get that one at 500€ on a good deal. At least it also has wireless charging, in case the usb-c port dies from west and tear. Because I will not spend that much money for a phone for sure

Also I wouldn't be sure about the better audio, from what I can tell this must have good audio too

No matter what phone comes out, there will always be dissatisfied people because you can't please everyone. From my point of view, for how much this phone costs and what it offers, there is nothing better for this money, period.

So i need at least 400gb for music alone, and a 512gb model therefore is much too small, since at this point I barely have memory left.

It ne... moreGaming on phones has evolved a lot in the last decade and even if it doesn't offer the same experience as on a laptop/pc, it comes pretty close. There are enough good games that keep you in front of the screen just like you do in front of a desktop. And here comes the part where even a laptop doesn't beat a phone, namely portability. And regarding the part that you have to charge the phone at some point, I think it's irrelevant for three reasons:
1: The battery lasts for hours of play anyway and you probably want to take breaks because you just don't stay 24 hours in front of the screen
2: It charges very quickly and it's a good thing you can rest your eyes while it charges
3: If you still don't want to take a break, then there is By-pass charging that draws current from the outlet to power the phone and not the battery, so you can continue playing with it plugged in without any problems.

Bob the web dev, 19 Nov 2025Unless you're rocking a 4k 120hz LTPO screen with HDR ... moreThat's why I said "call me old school". Still prefer talking to real people instead of being hooked to a small screen (very small for certain usages, even with high res) which partially goes against what you state in terms of power and price. Sure the latter two arguments are fully true. Why buy more devices if you can have all in one.
