Their R&D cost is A LOT cheaper due to that. Add in subsidizing from the Chinese gov and you've got a great value phone! Cameras are shit tho

looks almost same yet camera performance not even close. waste of periscope lens tech while other phones can obtain 5x tele normal setup.

The hardware and cooling they need to have 120w charging is probably making the phone heavier and thicker.
