The trick is to install Niagara Launcher from the PlayStore and then inside the app, on settings, you choose which default launcher you wish

This happened to me in chinese pones and tablets before.
The issue is chinese ROMs deny permission to GApps from time to time, but theres a solution using ADB commands to stop it.

Sorry to bother with the same question again, but I'm reading user who cannot change their Launchers.
For exemple couple in Reddit there's 2 threats arguing about not being able to set Nova Launcher as default, not from settings and not from Nova settings either.
Could you please confirm you can instal this launcher?
I have a ZTE Axon 40 Ultra and this is the final answer I need to update to the Nubia.

For those who don't like the front camera on the Ultra, get the Z50 with the punch hole front camera with very good quality. The Z50 has the same back camera setup as the Ultra and therefore top quality. I like my Z50 with one TB and 16 GB RAM capacity and all the same hardware as the Ultra, just for a smaller price.
Wallpaper problems can be solved with Googles Wallpaper Changer app. Launchers can also be installed as discussed in this forum before. Chinese bloatware can be deleted without any problem. The game changer for me is the camera on this phone. I think it is the best available now with the 35mm camera!
