My ba... moreMy battery is got swollen too few month ago, I just did as you did but new problem appeared my phone suddenly turned off after a beep. I went to the service and they told me that the battery cable had come loose and would continue to come loose, so I will most likely have to replace my phone. I am still considering which model to replace it with. I am also very dissatisfied with the overheating issue with this phone.

My battery also got swollen (thank God the screen was not affected), got a good replacement battery from AliExpress and the phone is as good as new. Even got an update this morning 1st of June, 2025. Now on Nebula AIOS android 15 (I have the Chinese version though) great phone overall

My nubia z50s pro is a year old now, at first I regretted buying it because the global os was so shit and lame.
3 months later I paid someone 4-5$ to teach me how to flash china rom and then all my problem is gone, sometimes it has bugs but enjoyable most of the time.

Mspree, 02 Dec 2024Not 6 months old and my Nubia Z50s Pro battery is swollen t... moreMine did too, after a little more than 1 year. Same one side battery bloat. Screen on time went down to 7.5 hours weeks ago and battery health got down to 80%. I didn't even use the 80w charger that came in the box because it never worked. It already got very hot with just 65w chargers, heck even on just 20w QC3 it got quite warm. This phone needs to be charged with old 5w bricks or the battery will grill itself. Also, avoid gaming with this phone. While it definitely has power under the hood and feels snappy, vapour chamber directly under the battery is a poor design choice. Or maybe it's just cheap battery cells or unstable power bricks idk. Stopped using it and waiting for a new battery.

Honestly, I liked the design and its camera, but I am not using it anymore as a daily driver. I just have it as an emergency back-up. Had I known how poor the software support was, I would have never bought it.

CamoGeko-XDA, 25 Jul 2024I think you're a liar and don't own this phone at all.Man they are not lying. I've had 1 security update and Google pay doesn't work anymore. It's so shit. Buggy as hell and has no extra features. That's why they are so cheap for the specs I guess. Such a shame

Such a bad software support is unbelievable. In 2024 they brought 2 security updates. It is really a trash company with no useful support.
I never buy a Nubia device again and can only warn potential customers.

Don't buy this phone i wish i didn't buy it, poor software full of bugs Google pay doesn't work on it , keeps resetting apps and alot more of problems, i have contacted the support of nubia about and they didn't help at all , even the basic stuff like just installing themes are not there such a bad phone i will go back to Xiaomi it's much better I'm not going to buy ir go near nubia again

Just get the chinese model / flash the chinese rom. Google services can be activated in the settings, and you have all the things global doesn't have ~
