So they removed the headphone jack and the gaming features (compared to the very similar Redmagic 9 Pro) for... what, an IP68 rating? Fan I get, triggers nobody not already getting a gaming phone will use so that makes sense, headphone port really should have stayed (it was NEVER difficult to make a phone with IP68 water resistance and a headphone jack, Samsung was doing it from 2015 to 2019).

What a shame. They could have just replaced the gaming features with wireless charging and if they could get the act together on software it would be an absolute hit at this price point.

Spec fine, just the phone I'm looking for with no visible selfie camera to replace my Oneplus 7 Pro, but worried about ZTE bad reputation for support and software updates. Euro and UK price much higher than USD global price for no good reason, so at the moment it's a pass.

The telephoto camera is only a 3x zoom? Cmon man!

Great specs. Abysmal software update record outside China.
Some folks suggest unlocking the bootloader... After paying around $800?

Anonymous, 19 Dec 2023No 6,35mm audio jack for amplifier, NO BUY!!! 😡👎I ain't buying when it doesn't have a Hi-Fi system and a record player

Im planing to buy thus phone and sold my S23+ but im not sure about software update to ZTE phones and multilanguage supports...

Some users says they receive 2,3 updates for whole year and almost no new Android version. On official site they didnt mention nothing about support. Is not cheap phone and you dont have any support for at least two new Android version or 2 year od security updates. Yes, former phones are most for China market, but this phone and 50 series are for global market.

Mobilemaster, 19 Dec 2023Well, maybe under display cameras are still not ready for 4... moreevery phone is designed to target a group of consumers,, this phone is defiantly not targeting consumers who care about front cameras, i believe its for consumers who admires a full uninterrupted large screen.

aezakmiSRB, 20 Dec 2023Can somebody explain it to me why is the resolution 1116 x ... moreThis is 1116p, better than FHD but worse than QHD (1440p). 2K is an umbrella term, which basically means any resolution which has 2000 horizontal pixels. This can be DCI standard, 2048x1080, 2560x1440 and a wild and fictional one, 2599x1080.

To sum it up/TL;DR, it's basically FHD (1080p) but slightly better.

Can somebody explain it to me why is the resolution 1116 x 2480 pixels? Is that FHD? 2K?

With that camera size you can fit a 1inch 50mp inside there

What happened to the Starry Night version?
