ZUK Z1 will feature USB Type-C port

At a media briefing in China, the CEO of ZUK showed a snapshot of features that can be expected in the upcoming Z1 smartphone. The company’s first handset will feature a USB Type-C port, just like the OnePlus 2.

ZUK will integrate the fingerprint recognition capabilities through U-Touch and other UI enhancements based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop code. The Z1 will also support seven 4G LTE bands - 1, 3, 7, 38, 39, 40, and 41, as well as dual-SIM and dual-standby.

ZUK Z1 will pack a massive battery. The smartphone is expected to release in September with Cyanogen OS on board.
