ZUK Z2 and Z2 Pro are getting Android 7.0 Nougat next week
Lenovo's sub-brand ZUK has some good news today for owners of its Z2 and Z2 Pro smartphones that were launched last summer. According to a Lenovo Group VP, both of these devices are set to receive their updates to Android 7.0 Nougat next week. A more specific release date hasn't been shared, but what's important is that it's finally a matter of days before these updates go out.
For both handsets, the underlying Android 7.0 Nougat release will have ZUK's new ZUI 2.5 on top, an update for the ZUI 2.0 that both the Z2 and Z2 Pro shipped with. Aside from bumping up the Android version, this also brings with it various bug fixes and performance enhancements. These will be incorporated into the ZUI 2.5 build for the newly announced ZUK Edge too, as you'd expect.
The last time a Lenovo official teased the Nougat update for the Z2 was back in November, so it's definitely good to finally see it out. Interestingly, an official announcement from last month said the Z2 Pro would taste Nougat on January 28, but in fact it's getting it a week earlier.

Nope In India Lenovo Z2 Plus is like the chinese ZUK Z2. They sell the ZUK Z2 under Lenovo brand. ZUK Z2 Pro has better specs.
