1: The Network Light always search ( Which is there in every phone)
2: There will be some process going on in Back ground Like in Windows you can't see it, Due to this the battery will drain lightly.
3: If Any application is Running then also battery drains. ( Like Blue tooth, WI-Fi, SMS or Outlook etc)
To Over come with this problem Reset the device once in a Day.

its screen is of 3.2 inch + processor of 500mhz so it consumes some extra battery...
My cell works fr around 1 n half day..

If i charge it full at 11 PM, then it is almost down to 70% in the morning without it being used at night. i feel there is some problem. Any siggestions on this?

well its a really nice phone...bought it 2 weeks back....its user friendly,great looks,really nice scroll wheel...
according to me there is only 1 prob that its not a 3G phone...
Those planning to buy it , just close ur eyes n go for it...

But the real fact that everyone is loving it, is for its big screen & responsive wheel. Since my usage type is COMPLETELY different from your usage, I slated it in 4.5 points out of 10. cheap and best winmo handset i guess but lack of 3g and wifi is a big blow , even nokia 5800 is a better choice with only the os being the problem

guys its the best phone at 11k with all features including gps, wm6.5, decent battery backup is really good touch phone, big screen with stylus

NO WIFI & 3G for a smartphone launched in 2009!!!?? comeeeeee onnnn ACER!!!
It really sucks both E101 & 100 for such a price,
I would prefer to stick with my old Q-tek 9100 :)

priyank, 24 Nov 2009any idea whether the scroll pad is like an accelerator or t... morehey priyanka, the phone's scroll pad is similar to the iPod multimedia player scroll pad, but this one can act as a fourway navigation key and the middle button as OK button. its pretty cool.. try it out..
i thnk its a little pricy with no 3g or wifi... if no 3g atleast wifi shuld have been there...
