this is a phone from 2018 and the reason they revived this phone is because Malaysia government establish a free-phone program and this model is one of the free phones distributed

I tried a phone with Go edition and it felt a lot faster than a phone with the same specs with no Go edition

For those saying that it doesn't have enough RAM, this phone uses something called Android Go edition which is far less demanding on RAM and processing power.

People (phone geeks and enthusiasts) don't get it.
This phone isn't for you.
This is for the person that needs messaging apps and maybe banking or some Covid app (so needs more than a feature phone) but isn't interested in anything more.
I quit smartphones for my health a year ago and could use something like this just to have messaging apps as well as calls, app calls, texts etc.
I have a great DSLR for photography and video (which I take seriously). I have a decent MP3 player and I'm not a gamer (if I was I would do it on my decent big TV). I read a book or listen to music on public transport.
Some people are not interested in being a slave to devices anymore.
This is a good choice for them and when you consider the specs, a bargain. Imagine having a computer in your pocket for this price 10-15 years ago!

This phone's so underpowered and minimum Ram for 2021 is 3GB. My Huawei p20 lite with 4 GB RAM is still going strong after 3 years and I can do everything I want with it.

With this specs all this phone will be able to do is make calls. I have no ides why anyone would want to spend more than $10 to just make calls. Most apps in Google store already refuse to install/run on less than 4GB, let alone 1GB. Oh, I get it - it will probalby run calculator smoothly...

60 Euro is more than $70, which is way too much for such an outdated phone, with very similar specs to the two year old Alcatel 1C. If they sell it for just above $40 like the 1C, but with a current Android Go version, it is not a bad choice compared to completele no-name products. At $70 though I would rather even chose a used Redmi.

Alkatel is funny. How could they just come up with android phone with 2000mah battery. It's madness! Why not make it feature phone that is not android, then we would understand. This is 2021 and not the year 2000
