I am stuck with a malfunctioning phone and I don't know what to do.

I am using or I should say trying to use this phone over couple of months now. The data connection is absolutely horrible. It shows you have connection but it actually is not connected to the GSM so nobody can call you and you only understand this when you try to call someone else. My phone went to repair two times since the time I have bought it and came back "repaired".
Nothing changed plus now I have the volume button broken by the repair service as bonus.
Alcatel is not accepting a return on this product. So my suggestion DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE or any other GSM product from Alcatel. They are simply not a good service oriented company.
