I remember that i got this crap phone and my brother threw it at a wall, the battery came out but funny enough it worked fine. the battery life of the phone is crap, it's the slowest phone on the planet (what would you expect though, it's so cheap), and the memory is so bad, i could only install two small apps lol.

GREAT CHEAP SMARTPHONE IF and only IF it has the model or type number 4017D on the box it is in. This means it's lowly 2gb memory can be expanded with a microSD card up to 32gb. DO NOT BUY IT if it has model or type number 4017X on the box. This Optus model cannot be memory expanded and you are stuck with ONLY about 1gb of usable memory. I shouldn't whinge, it cost only $39 Australian. OK for emails not much else.
I got lumbered with the last one. There was no model 4017X information online to alert me to this drawback. The only info online (MANUAL) was for the model the 4017D model. Buyer beware !

The SIM slot is locked the phone was sent to me from UK am in Ghana if I try to install something from my local network is not working

An incredibly slow piece of trash. Even Play store keeps crashing, the phone keeps rebooting, it wont even run Clean Master without crashing. Tiny storage. No compass - so google Maps rather useless. Another disaster from Alcatel. No point having a cheap phone that doesn't even WORK with basic things.

Alcatel: a company who's phones with a HIGHER number have even LOWER specs! So the 4 is WORSE than the 3.
All Pixi's lack a compass, making them useless for Google Maps. You will have no idea what direction to go in when you arrive at your next leg.
