I have a had it four years at... moreThis phone is a middle end phone that was designed at the time for messaging only but supprisely it performed well through out the years no battery or hardware issues the issue I noticed the O.S firmware it's not upgraderble but everything else is good for a middle end low budget phone.

Just because you hate this phone does not mean everyone hates it. I used to have this phone and upgraded it to lineage os 19.1. I don't care if this can't play games. It's even not intended! So don't try to get games on this.

This was my very first phone. I have a had it four years at Christmas and it is absolutely terrible. Takes ages to load any apps and it can't even play any games. I only had it about 6 months and I had to get a new phone because I couldn't cope with it anymore. I do not recommend!

I brought pixi 4 4 (40434e) n 2016 then I break it by flashing wrong twrp.later in 2020 I found a group in blogs sharing right software and twrp.thanks to them.now my pixi 4 4 still working after 4 years of software break and I use it for development.

For the price, this is great. If you get the 8GB model, you have space for around 2 apps. It runs Android for the price as well. A problem is that the phone is almost 4 years old. They should release the Alcatel Pixi 5

TERRIBLE!
I got it in April 2019 and couldn't wait to have a phone with a front camera!
The thing is,I discovered it sucks!
Problems:
Android takes up around 2GB,leaving 2GB to be used.
Very cheap quality, 1 drop to crack it.
Slow
Unless you get another model,you are stuck with 3G(Apple said 3G was good is 2008)
Tiny screen

There are not many 4" phones around, so I thought I'd give this a try. Out of the box, yes, it is terrible (but not as bad as my Nokia 1!).
But because it was so cheap, I rooted and flashed it with the "PixiReloaded v.1.2" ROM and hey, I suddenly had only 287 MB taken up out of the 2 GB (used to be 1.2 GB ). All the bloatware is gone. Now it runs great with all my favourite apps (including Firefox, X-Plorer, OsMand mapping, K9 e-mail and many more).

This phone is literally the worst. It comes with 4gb of internal storage (most of which is taken up by apps you can't delete), it has a horrible ram of 512mb, it can't think properly and touchscreen is horrible. Spend $50 more and get yourself a better phone.
