Anonymous, 25 Apr 2023Hi, is your phone battery model # TLi015M1 ? I'm look... moreSorry for late reply, my battery model is TLi020F7, my phone model is 5045T.

SILVAR, 01 Oct 2020I acidentally put a password in the phone. Now it is imposs... moreIf you want to remove the password you need to hard reset it however be careful because that will erase ALL YOUR DATA. To hard reset it shut down the phone and while it is off press the power and volume up buttons at the same time and hold until the Alcatel logo appears. Shortly after the recovery will load where you can use the option Wipe data/Factory reset to reset the phone. The recovery menu is navigated using the volume up and down buttons to go up and down and power to enter. I know I am 2 years late with the response but hopefully this will help someone :)

If anyone have the 5010D model (5" display, 3G) please contact with me my fb id name Oldid Eaten your help is extremely appreciated.

This is the smartphone that resonate with the phrase "cheap is bad". The only good thing about this smartphone is cheap, and the rest it does feel it is really the cheapest, where it lag seriously from the moment you turn of the phone. Please spend more on a more expensive smartphone instead of buying this. You won't regret if you are not purchase this smartphone.

Bobbob, 23 Feb 2022Without doubt the biggest pile of shit phone it has ever be... moreI would say that smartphone only the higher end one is usable. This smartphone is left behind, it is going back at the time (maybe up to 13 years back) where Android smartphone internal storage is small, still depend on external Micro SD as main storage, the processor is still not as powerful and as efficient as today's processor, then the Android OS and software at that time is designed to powered such low power device.
Maybe Android and all Android apps should have a version to power such low end device. Replied with my Alcatel Pixi 4 (5).

Without doubt the biggest pile of shit phone it has ever been my misfortune to own. Do yourself a favour and steer clear even if you see it for cheap used. Constant freezes and slow even when its working. It will casue you nothing but stress and annoyance.

Here I come again. I know that many dislike this smartphone, but really, it is what it is.
This is the kind of backup smartphone that really cheap in price, yet really functional. But don't expect the same experience from your typical high end, mid range and even entry level. This one is for the lowest level, lowest class. It is worse than any used smartphone. All in all, this is only mainly for voice call, and some basic smartphone thing, no more thing. For it's price, I can only say that this is for those who yet to transition from basic phone to smartphone. You might argue that no one would want to use this, and even those that get used to only basic phone deserved a better smartphone. You are right, if you are willing to spend more, why not? After all, this 4G smartphone cost only 43 bucks when newly bought.

After 4 years, this phone still alive! (This smartphone already released for 5.5 years)
As a basic smartphone, things that annoy me are the small internal storage, very very slow processor, badly optimized OS despite running almost stock Android. Due to the Google apps update nature, each stock apps now occupied more storage until no space to install other apps. The rest is the very laggy experience due to the very cheap hardware, causing call drop, hang, restart.
Of course, mostly I will suggest to avoid this smartphone at all cost, please spend a little bit more for a more usable smartphone, spend at least $100. But by no mean $100 is a good smartphone, but at least for basic thing such as 4G internet, VoLTE, basic apps usage, 64GB internal storage.
Please remember that this is a $50 smartphone, it is at the lowest of the competition. Smartphone has evolved from time to time, you should definitely already owning some higher end smartphone after owning this smartphone.

There are rumor saying those smartphone from year 2012 are purposely locked to become under perform, to force buyer to buy newer smartphone.
This smartphone is worse of the worse, but please bear in mind the price.
Again, I treat it as an basic phone rather than a proper smartphone.

Avoid cheap Alcatels at all costs. This is like using a phone from 2012 now. It takes 10 minutes to power on is unbearably slow. If you want a cheap phone, get a second hand phone for about €120 or buy the €100 Alcatel 1S 2021 (Alcatel's only decent phone)

Alcatel no more is the phone manufacturer that we all known for.
They are now similar to those cheap knockoff brand.
Bought Alcatel phone if you know what you are looking for (only very cheap and very low end smartphone without any software optimization)
