Android 5.1 for Asus ZenFone 2 ZE550ML is in final testing

It appears that Asus ZenFone 2 ZE550ML is about to get the Android 5.1 Lollipop treatment soon. A user’s chat with an Asus representative confirms that the update is in final testing.

The above mentioned chat has reportedly taken place in the Asus Support application. The latter comes preloaded on every ZenFone 2 and allows easy access to a chat with customer service rep.

The ZE550ML is the entry-level ZenFone 2 with Intel Atom Z3560 SoC, 2GB of RAM, and 720p display. There is no word on the update’s status for the top level Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML with 4GB of RAM for the time being.

I agree. Asus phone has nice hardware features, but its software is terrible. I'am a big Asus fan, but actually can't see that they really take care for their customers. Sad :/

its verry frustrated to see so many troubles are android 6 and asus team ignoring all users with asus phone i personaly i sent lots of fetback on asus suport thei respont me 1 time to return my devices to factory setings but nothing or to cheap push ...
