Apple products may be underpowered but are optimized very well. M1 is way overkill for this iPad, and good for 5 years at least.

I have this alongside a 120hz android phone and I seriously can't tell the diff between the two when scrolling. iPadOS is really smooth and makes the tablet feel like 90hz, seriously.

I've always wondered why apple literally doubled the amount of RAM on this one, is bc of the chip per se?
I'd like to think that it is bc in the future a MacOS lite (or whatever fancy name apple calls it) version will come to the ipads

I purchased the 64GB version (cellular). It does not have phone call app. I wander if there is available any third party app for phone calls. But it has GPS which the WiFi version does not. Important for apps that use it, like stargazing apps that I use. I don't have problem with storage yet. Apart the fact that I use iCloud,I have already installed 6 games from Apple arcade, Nebo note app and Affinity photo 2 and I still have 35GBs of free space in the device. I am fully satisfied from the Apple pencil 2 as well. I can write and design with ease. I can't see what kind of difference I'd have noticed with a 120Hz display in that sector. I feel very satisfied with this product. I have got also a wireless keyboard from my old iMac and it has been recognised already by Bluetooth. So I ordered the simple smart folio case. It has M1 processor which beats, hands down so many laptops and desktop systems for crying out loud! What else would I want to ask for more? I don't see to change it,at least for the next 5 years to come. I don't find any reason, honestly! For camera I have my own, dedicated one. I don't rely on any tablet. It can make excellent video calls and that counts! With a nice,ultrawide camera. That's all that is needed folks!

I catch the iPad Air 256gb Wi-Fi + Cellular at same price just Wi-Fi version. I don’t regret it since Apple launch it past year I wanted, over the Pro version. M1, 8gb RAM p. I don’t regret it.

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2023ipad air 5 or ipad pro 11 M1?air 5 2022 have the same core with 11 pro, but personally i'd rather choose 11 pro if have some spare money, and if dont then air 5 is enough. IMO display in 11 pro is very nice and have much different with air 5

Guys do u think this is normal? When I lock my ipad air 5 with the power button a little reddish tint shows in the lock animation. And also if I change the brightness a little quickly theres a red tint for a moment too. Do u think this is normal? The service center is quite far away from my place and I had this issue since I bought this but didn't notice it. Its only been around 1 month after buying it.
