based on notebookcheck.net, ipad pro 11 2022 uses temporal dithering to increase the number of colors that can be shown.
it's like PWM and even worth.
i use ipad to reading and taking notes and it's important to me.
this temporal dithering causes eye strain or headaches.
There is some users says the temporal dithering add in new ipad os!
anyone with this device have that issues???

Because the latter is slightly more efficient, it'd expect the battery on the M2 model to be slightly longer. Other than that, the M2 is probably slightly faster, but iPadOS 16 doesn't even really fully utilize the power of the M1 or the A12Z if you don't have a very specific demanding use case. It's more a question of lasting 9 years vs 11 years, but for the short to medium term, there won't be much of a difference. So if the M1 is available much cheaper, I'd recommend to get that one. If they are the same price or like $30 to $50 difference at the same storage, you could get the M2 model. And the M2 model has "Apple Pencil Hover" which Apple (most likely) software locked to the M2, so consider if that is important to you. It's mostly just for people doing digital art on their iPad from how I understand it.
