Asus silently launches the ZenPad 3S 8.0
Asus held an event at Computex in Taipei where it emphasized on the abilities of the groundbreaking ZenFone AR along with a bunch of laptops and some PC hardware. Later at its however, a new tablet was spotted that didn't even get a mention on stage. The ZenPad 3S 8.0 with model number Z582KL is a slight upgrade over the ZenPad 3 8.0 Z581KL or a compact version of the ZenPad 3S 10 Z500KL, depending on how you look at it.
The new ZenPad tablet comes with Snapdragon 652 chipset and 4 GB RAM, but there is a more affordable option with 3 GB RAM. The internal storage is now 32 or 64 GB, instead of the 16/32 GB options that the predecessor ZenPad 3 8.0 had.
The 7.9” display has the a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, matching the pixel count of the lager ZenPad 3S 10 Z500KL. A 13 MP camera is on the back, and a 5 MP one can be seen on the front. The tablet runs on Android Nougat 7.1, and the 6.9mm slate has an “aluminum unibody”.
With no press release to mark the announcement we have no information on pricing or availability just yet.

Buy the now-cheap Galaxy Tab S2 instead. Same specs + bigger and better screen.

Actually Asus launched it loudly but as usual no one heard it. Since Asus decided it's a premium cellphone company people stopped giving any shift...
