Asus Zenfone 2 with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage debuts in Taiwan

17 June, 2015

The Asus Zenfone 2 is available in quite a few different models with different screen resolution, chipsets and internal storage. The best spec'd among those is the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML with 4GB RAM, which packs a 5.5" 1080p display, Intel Atom Z3580 chip and a 13MP rear cam. The Zenfone 2 is equipped with Android Lollipop.

Since its launch in March the Zenfone 2 has been available in 16, 32 and 64GB versions, all of them featuring a microSD slot as well. Later a 128GB model went quietly official in India and is available for purchase via Flipkart. But tomorrow Asus will reportedly launch this same 128GB model of the Zenfone 2 in its homeland.

The 128GB Zenfone 2 will be headed to Taiwan tomorrow, June 18 at 10AM and is rumored to cost just €345. A combo offer with the ZenPower battery should be available as well.

There is no info on expanded international availability for this 128GB version of the flagship Zenfone 2 model with 4GB. Hopefully we'll know more in the next couple of days.

Thank you, Kamlesh, for the tip.

It supports 128Gb MicroSD too. I have one working with this 64Gb version phone and you can look @xda forums xD 128+128=256Gb in a cellphone lol I didn't try an sdcard higher than 128Gb though.
