AT&T rolls out update for HTC One M8, but it's not Lollipop

20 January, 2015

Just a day after HTC One M8 users in Malaysia started receiving the Android 5.0 update, AT&T has also pushed out an update for the device in the US, although sadly it’s not Lollipop. The update, which bumps the Android OS version to 4.4.4, enables HD Voice feature, improves battery performance, and introduces security and Bluetooth enhancements.

The other changes the update brings along include addition of AMBS Cloud Messaging Integration, Copy and Paste camera feature, and Usage Manager App, as well as updates to AT&T Ready2Go and Visual Voicemail.

If you’ve got an HTC One (M8) from AT&T, you can check for the update by heading to Settings -> AT&T Software Update -> Check for updates
