Battleground Mobile India to arrive as an alternative to PUBG Mobile

Yordan, 06 May 2021

PUBG Mobile was kicked out of the Indian market last fall, but now a successor is on its way, developed by the same company Krafton. The new name will be Battleground Mobile India, and this time it will bring localized in-game events.

PUBG (Player Unknown’s Battleground) pulled out of the Asian country after the local government actually banned it, quoting the app was “prejudicial to the sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, security of the state and public order.”

The real reason behind this statement was because PUBG had ties with Tencent, a Chinese conglomerate, and currently India and China are in a feud, following a border conflict.

Battleground Mobile will store all collected data on Indian servers and will operate “in full compliance with all applicable laws” in India and for players in the country. The game launch is just a small step for Krafton trying to warm up to the Indian government - it also promised an investment of $100 million in the country, as well as opening 100 new job positions.

You know china got many more nukee than you do, right? Probably enough to cleanse a lot of cities from your country. If China wants something, they will get it, through war.
