      1. According more recent rumored devices, the Slider is the one with a touchscreen plus a slide out qwerty keypad. You can search it as Bold Slider or 9800.
      2. According to BBLeaks, the Storm2'2 and the 9700 will be getting official OS6 support. Not sure about others.
      3. SureType is like T9 which is predictive text. Type a few keys and the phone "knows" what you are going to type and types it for you. Multitap is when you press each number onces, twice or more times to type out a letter you want.
      4. The 9100 is regular SureType QW ER TY keypad while the 9105 is the one with the normal 123 keypad.

                2) yes,i do agree the design of this machine is sleek n got style..but i think i prefer more to the onyx..its already take my heart man..hahaha..so,could u tell me that whether the onyx also available for the OS 6 updates??

I expected it to be smaller than the Pearl 9100 since it had only a numerical keyboard, but all they did was to place bigger T9 keys on the same device.

Really disappointed about this device´s size. Lets wait for a better pricing.

blackberrian, 27 Apr 2010r u sure what r u talking about my friends??erm,im glad tha... moreHonestly, yeah! The Bold 9700 is nice but this new curve (in dark red fade to black) looks nice! It offers the same specs, is said to support OS6 and is nice and sleek. The qwerty keypad of the first Pearls (suretype) is RIM's version of T9 from the regular 123(ABC) keypads. But I find T9 easier to use since most phones with T9 offer 123 number pads. Multitap on my Nokia N85 was easy, as was on my Nokia 5610, SE w705 and SE c902. And QWERTY on my Gemini and iPod touch are just as fast, except I make more mistakes on the iPod xD.I also owned a SE P1i which also has the QW ER TY keypad... but no SureType, so I was fast on it to. I can basically adapt to any keyboard with my big hands (but the 9000 has the most comfortable keypad ever!). I just think Multitap beats SureType and Multitap is probably easier on this keyboard. I guess my main reason for prefering multitap over SureType is because I type in 2 languages (english and spanish) and the auto-correct would change some spanish words to english ones or vice-versa.

JRF, 27 Apr 2010I definitely would prefer this over the 9100. SureType isn'... morer u sure what r u talking about my friends??erm,im glad that BB has now come out with a few new models..n IT IS TOUCH PAD dude! hahaha..touch pad is the best thing compared to that old trackball thing!..forca BB!

I definitely would prefer this over the 9100. SureType isn't my thing. But with the conventional Alphanumeric keypad this one has, multitap will keep me as fast as a regular QWERTY device. This would go great with my 8520!
