I had that table for some time too, and the only positive thing was the hardware (the screen was very nice and it multitasked nicely), given how a pain in the ass was to transfer files to and from it, save through WiFi (forget about Bluetooth with an Android or even a computer with it), how long it took to boot, few apps in the store next to Google's one, and how not all Android apps ported there as .bar files (?) worked.

This tablet was my childhood. Yeah it sucks in comparison with the iPad 2, but it was my first ever tablet.
When I received this as my Christmas gift I was very happy. Games and apps were limited, but something about BlackBerry's own OS made the whole experience very unique.
I ended up "jailbreaking" my playbook and started sideloading a crap ton of paid games. Soon enough I had a large collection of the best games on my playbook, mainly cross-platform ones like Angry birds, Bejeweled, and the Gameloft games.
It's also interesting to think that this 2011 tablet uses gesture-based navigation, and it took iOS and Android 7 to 9 more years to adopt this as the main navigation method.

But is it really useful to complain about a 12 year old tablet? Let's be real, the only purpose it serves now is nostalgia and a trip down memory lane, and for such purpose I still love my PlayBook.
I still use and play on it every once in a while to remind me of the good days of my youth.

For the time it was realeased it was a good tablet but now it's just not capable of much you better off getting a Samsung galaxy tablet or something like that.

This playbook is not worth of spending money on it. It is useless, there is not a single good that in this blackberry world, full of useless things, the apps and games are all pathetic.

The blackberry PlayBook is crap I'm sorry blackberry but it is crap I know a ton of people would agree I have a 64GB playbook and the games are crap For example there is this one game that is clickbait shows an amazing game then when you get to playing it its rubbish and the other games are rubbish too!! The only good games ( In My opinion) Are Robotek and Draw and Guess!! ( and Pew Pew ) So BlackBerry if you see this plz add Roblox that will really change my opinion if it.

ryt qliq, 17 Nov 2017when i switch on my bb playbook 32G it shows Welcome swipe ... morefirst on your tab, connect wifi WAP (Not Manually), press router button and again press connet button(at Bottom). write password in box and swip left in bottom. after complete this process download operating software (around 300 mb) and it install automatically and restart also. enjoy.
remember playbook support only MP4 and WMV media or video file.

I have 1 like this with a 16gb and if you have a good wifi connection. That's the time that you can activate this device. you must have also a valid email and correct details for activating or resetting it.
