Excellent OS, excellent dimensions and more. I am only now having to search for a different model as the latest demand from Whatsapp to install update (2.23.13.76 and above) is incompatible, it's refusing to install. (Current installation is 2.23.7.79).
Of course, I don't particularly like Whatsapp, but unfortunately it's all but ubiquitous. Besides, Signal won't load either, some evidence seems to suggest this is because of a move to Android 5, as opposed to 4, as minimum requirement, for all of the above.
Spare me the 'security' propaganda, the sooner this planned obsolescence nonsense ends the better. Don't accept it!

how about TI version in STL100-1? this specs shown is Snapdragon version (STL100-2/3/4)
upgradable OS is outdated, now is 10.3.3 for Snapdrahon version and 10.3.2 for TI version
please change outdated upgradable OS version

As a "dumb" phone for voice, text and email, it is still great. In 2021, the browser will not work, except on simple text sites and basic ones like npr.org. If you do not use the internet, the battery life is very much acceptable and voice and text is well supported for light to moderate use. The display is excellent and much brighter in sunlight than even some recent phones retailing for $500. I also like that it has a LED indicator that can tell you of a message has been received, without you having to look at the screen or turn the display on. The size is also very convenient, the virtual keyboard the best, and the frame is itself very strong. If you just want a simple phone that is also good at email (POP, STMP) then it is still a good deal for $100, given that replacement batteries are still available. Sound quality is tops.

this phone is great the only bad thing is the battery is 1800 mah ...my phone was burned due to fire in my room .. i did not find reparation in mt country Algeria .. i still saved it
