This thing is a piece of crap. Doesn't connect to any 3G or GSM network 90% of the time. Very few sensors and what sensors it has are extremely weak (e.g., gps hardly finds satellites in clear sky) and the camera resolution sucks.

I'm told it needs a new battery, but the search for one for this phone came up empty. After reading your opinion, maybe mine does not need a battery?? Maybe it just needs to be thrown in the trash!!! have just spent 3 1/2 hours trying to find a removable battery for my Blu Advance 4.0L phone. I've called Walmart where it was purchased, Blu and T-Mobile who is the carrier for this phone, and no one can tell me where I can get this battery that is needed for my 'dead' phone. I'm told it is not covered on warranty and I really don't care about that!! BUT it would be nice to find something to make this phone work again. It will NOT charge. My daughter bought this phone for me on 1/12/16 At Walmart, since she was leaving Calif. and put it on her plan so I would have a phone for emergencies. The batteries I did find while searching the internet for a "Removable Li-Ion 1300 mAh battery for Blu android Advance 4.0L". The unlocked phone only cost $53.91 including tax and the only batteries I find are for Samsung and other brands for $55.00 or more?!?! This is ridicules!
I really love this phone even though I don't have a clue about all the apps and things. I have text messaged (using the microphone option) and taken pictures and messaged them to a friend. That is 'all' I do with this phone and should not have to pay as much as the phone costs to replace the battery! If the battery dies in 8 months and is after that a 'throw away phone" we should know before it dies!! It is now 3 hours since I started this search and NO ONE can seem to help me with this problem! I am so very frustrated and angry at this point!
