When I compared this phone to my old Lenovo A328, I saw that this one is much better with a lot of features, even the ROM storage here is more compared to the Lenovo A328's 4 GB. It's hard to imagine a feature phone would be better than an Android phone.

The Streak Pro has several variants: D43 (China), 101DL (Japan), GS01 (Japan). They all run Android 2.3 with a few UI customizations tacked-on, more-so for the D43 variant. The D43 is perhaps the most heavily customized variant, as it has Baidu-specific applications.
The 101DL and the GS01 were given over-the-air system updates, which upgrades their OS to Android 2.3.5. This was the latest, and the very last update released as far as I know.

all the time the phone keep send this message (((The process com.dell.launcher has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again))) the batterry can pulling out the close to the phone. plz can some body help ??

does anybody have any ideas on how to port 4.0 or 4.4 rom? i've tried severally but ran into a dead end, i managed to root my dell GS01 i even made a decent back up as a safety measure coz i've bricked it twice previously and unbricked it perfectly...

ahm,, all i can say is the phone's specs is very high for a GINGER BREAD OS,, it can perform much better if we will be able to upgrade its OS to the latest version,,most android phones that that uses the latest OS (Lollipop) has lower specs or just the same specs as this one have. I suggest it will be upgradeable soon,,
