Using this for 1.5 years now and encountered a lot of bugs.

    Green flickering screen
Dead pixels at top right of the screen for no reason (seems to happen for other users)
    Touch screen issues

    Avoid

I have Internet issues with this device. After a couple of days, Internet shuts down forever without any restart of device or the internetspeed suddenly stays extremely slow like bad LTE connection. Already compared with other phones but this issue only happens with google pixel!

The problem with my pixel is that the phone just stopped playing audio and video. I can't even watch a video online and I can't make calls, if should try to make a call or receive a call, the phone hangs and then reboots. I've been having this problem and don't know how to fix it

You guys are just unlucky. I've had mine for over 2 years with no issues. Pixel 6. Battery life is great runs like a dream. But I will be upgrading to the OnePlus 11. The battery charging speed is the main focus for the switch.

I wish I had stuck to Samsung, or maybe when I have enough cash, I'll try OnePlus or the Motorola Edge +. I have used the Google Pixel 3, and now I have the Google Pixel 6. One common problem with Google is overheating, especially when using the camera or participating in Teams or Google Meet meetings. The phone gets so hot that it burns your hand. Since I have many Teams calls/meetings every week where I need to use my camera, the phone heats up within minutes of the meeting starting. At intervals, it shuts off most functions like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and data due to overheating. As a result, my battery swelled, and the phone split open by itself within a week. Although I replaced the battery, for a week, all sensors and the bottom microphone stopped working. The proximity sensor refused to work for about three weeks, but one day they all started working again. I lost sim service for a while too, I wasn't getting reception so I had to put my sim in another phone.

I believe these issues are software-related, but now I only use the phone for browsing and playing light games. I used to be a fan of Google Pixel, but now I dislike it.

Yeah, I really do plan to keep it up until August 2026, and hopefully, it won't have any other horror issues like the one with the network that you have mentioned. So far, so good. It is a perfect phone? No. I'm still shocked that Google doesn't support my country officially, so no 5G for me, and some other minor features as well, but that's ok. I knew that before I have purchased the phone. If the official support from Google comes to this part of Europe when the time for a new phone comes, I'll probably stay with Pixel. But, if not, then, I'll switch to something else since by 2026, 5G will probably get to the state of functioning normally everywhere.

Never had an issue with the microphone and had zero software issues. Android 14 seemed to improve battery life a little.

I would love to keep my phone and planned on at least getting 3 years out of it but not gonna happen. I read a lot of users who had this issue and was happy that my phone never showed any signs of this... Until it started. You better hope your connectivity issues don't start because you will need to buy a new phone or be tethered to WiFi to use it. Good Luck!

I bought a Pixel 6 in June 2022, and I'm quite happy with it, even though I think 750 EUR was a bit too much.

PROS: 9/10 camera, still fast with everything, and all previous software issues were resolved since the update to Android 14, probably a couple of months prior to that. The battery is also very good but not superb. The phone has a premium feel even after two years since its launch.

CONS: Like many buyers, I also had that horror issue with the bottom mic, which stopped working after 15 days, and the only way to resolve it was to blow pressurized air into it(I haven't had this issue since then). There were random software issues in the first couple of months.

                        OVERALL: 8/10
This phone will have support until August 2026 at least, and for the current price, it is a no-brainer.

Bought in June 22, upgraded from a 3a. To this day have never had battery drain issues or lagging, camera and video have been solid, although I felt like my 3a produced similar or better quality images in some situations.

Heard the stores of connectivity issues, but for 17 months I had no complaints. Typical month I was using about 20 GB of data on average.

2 months ago that changed.. I'm under 1 GB. If I'm not connected to WiFi, I can hardly ever get a good signal. I drive highways and would steam Spotify for hours on end with no issues, great connectivity. Now I might make it 15 minutes before I reboot. I've tried to toggle off 5G to LTE, hard resets, all the trouble shooting possible and nothing. Prior to 2 months ago I used the phone in Europe, Alaska, Colombia and had a great connection, now it's garbage even at home. Constant cellular connectivity issues. Updates have had no impact, it's a known hardware issue, at first I felt like I dogged it but it finally caught me.

On a bright note I gave my old 3a to a friend in Colombia and they continue to use it to this day with zero issues. At least my Bluetooth (I got pixel buds pro) and WiFi have been trouble free.

This is true..battery life has been improved quite a bit on Android 14..plus the heating is significantly less almost negligible..now..

I like Pixel 6 more over Pixel 7 because it has a flat display at the front. Whereas Pixel 7 curves on the sides which makes application of screen protectors really annoying!
