This might be important information for some: the screen bezels on the renders are fake. IFixIt has a repair guide with real life images of the Pulse series that shows the front looks identical to the Pulse Pro renders on all of them

Finally, disposable device. Easily affordable, repairable, and replaceable.
This is a great addition for minimalism/dumbphone without sacrificing significant Android function.

I'm assuming that extra cost comes from its ease of repairability, and some other stuff that aren't obvious to regular people
Weirdly, it has nearly symmetrical bezels
I'd never expect that kinda thing at this price

Apparentally this phone has an "HID" display type. I do not know what that is but it seems like it's neither a regular LCD or regular (AM)OLED. Weird

Someone who tiped GSMArena team said its actually for sale for that price. I read that in comment section for that device.
So it could be under 100 and in that term its a best phone on the market with price tag less than 100.
Of course if it would come to global release it would cost no less than 150 in Europe or US.

Wouldn't be surprised if the G9 doesn't actually come out for consumers and is exclusive to ODM partner sales on Global Sources - they have a G6 and G7 planned too, those are probably the consumer ones

Not a bad the price to specs,
But Umidigi G9 for 99 eur 5G phone looks greater value compared to this HMD.
